French Montana has added a new prize to his list of trophies.

This week, French Montana became the most streamed artist of African origin. This new step did not leave French indifferent, and he took it to social media to express and share his celebration.  On Instagram, Montana shared some images of his songs that helped him reach this milestone. “This little immigrant boy had faith,” captioned French Montana. “ Thank you to all my fans, I love you (COMING DOCUMENTARY)….. let’s make more history… A GOAL without a plan is a wish. »

French reached this milestone thanks to the success of “Unforgettable” with Swae Lee. Last weekend, this track was still trending. The song had already been certified diamond last year and has more than three billion plays on streaming platforms.

This is not the first time that French Montana has received a prize and award. In October 2022, he recalled his attachment to his African origins. The rapper has been involved in raising $226 million to improve his  home country’s health system. This earned him the Innovator Award at the annual Pencils of Promise gala in New York.
