Jay-Z Explains Why Beyonce’s “Renaissance” Deserves a Grammy for Album of the Year

Jay-Z gave an interview before the Grammy ceremony to share that he was betting on Beyonce’s Renaissance album for Album of The Year.

It is rather rare to see Jay-Z give interviews. However, he did just that before the Grammy ceremony, with Elliott Wilson from TIDAL. He said he’s confident Beyoncé will win a Grammy.

For Jay, Beyonce heavily influenced the music world with her new album “Renaissance ”. “Look what it’s done to the culture,” he said about Queen B’s latest project. “Look how the energy of the world has moved. They play her whole album in the club. I don’t know if I’ve ever seen that. The whole whole joint – like, everything? ! Every remix is amazing. Everyone is inspired. She inspired the whole world. Each remix is better than the other.»

Despite all of Jay-Z’s efforts, the album did not win the trophy for album of the year. However, Beyonce still became the most-awarded artist in the history of the Grammys.
