Don Toliver and Doja Cat have come together for a new high-octane single, “Lose My Mind.” The track will come out this Wednesday as the lead track from the upcoming “F1” movie soundtrack. The track, set to debut at noon ET, was teased earlier this week. The teaser came in with a cinematic video shared by Formula 1’s official social channels, offering fans a glimpse.

Starting with a pulsating beat, Don Toliver and Doja Cat blend their melodies, harmonizing on the hook. “So why don’t we just lose my mind?”—a lyric that underscores the track’s immersive atmosphere. The teaser video, posted Tuesday (April 29), complements the song’s sleek sonics. Also, the visuals hint at the adrenaline-fueled themes of the forthcoming film.

For Don Toliver, “Lose My Mind” marks a return to familiar territory. The Houston native previously lent his atmospheric sound to 2021’s F9: “The Fast Saga” soundtrack. At that point, Toliver teamed up with Lil Durk and Latto on the track “Fast Car.” Known for blending trap, psychedelia, and R&B into his own sonic signature, Toliver has carved out a lane with albums like “Heaven or Hell.” Also, most recently,” Hardstone Psycho was released in 2024. Since that LP, he’s collaborated with artists like Wiz Khalifa and J-Hope.

Don Toliver and Doja Cat Expanding Career with “Lose My Mind”

Also, Doja Cat continues to expand her creative range. “Lose My Mind” is her second major contribution to a film soundtrack. The first is her 2022 hit “Vegas” for Baz Luhrmann’s “Elvis” biopic. That track soared to No. 10 on the Billboard Hot 100 and dominated radio. Thus, it topped both the Pop Airplay and Rhythmic Airplay charts. With her genre-mixing style and provocative visuals, Doja has become one of pop’s most unpredictable stars. She’s currently teasing her fifth studio album, “Vie.” She previously shared what appears to be a tracklist and previewed unreleased material like “Jealous Type” via social media. The album will follow Scarlet (2023), which peaked at No. 4 on the Billboard 200 and solidified her place among pop’s elite.

So, “Lose My Mind” arrives at a ground-breaking moment for both artists. Doja is aiming to release “Vie,” and Toliver continues evolving his sound across diverse platforms. If the teaser is any indication, this collaboration blends high style with high speed. Thus, it promises a standout moment on the F1 soundtrack and potentially a chart contender in its own right.
