Watch: Kendrick Lamar Unveils Introspective Music Video For “Rich Spirit”

The single “Rich Spirit” was released on his latest album, Mr. Morale & the Big Steppers.

The musical year 2022 is definitely marked by the release in May of Kendrick Lamar’s latest album, Mr. Morale & the Big Steppers. After releasing the clips for “The Heart Part 5”, “N95” and the short film “We Cry Together” produced in one shot and in which the American artist plays, he has now unveiled the video for the single “Rich Spirit”. In this piece, Kendrick paints a portrait of himself and addresses the themes of death, loyalty, and narcissism. 

In the new very aesthetically shot clip of “Rich Spirit” directed by Californian Calmatic, we observe Kendrick in different interior spaces, between introspection and artistic performance. This track has been nominated for multiple Grammy Awards for Mr. Morale & the Big Steppers, including Album of the Year and Best Rap Album.
