Davianah Celebrates Success of “F Season” EP and Prepares for Rebel Salute 2025
Dancehall artist Davianah, daughter of reggae legend Tony Rebel, is earning praise for her latest EP, F Season. Released on November 4 under her independent label, Davianah Music, the project showcases a new side of the rebellious singer. Featuring six tracks, the EP highlights her versatility and ability to blend sensual themes with her signature fiery style.
Tracks like Lockdown featuring NHance, After with Jahshii, and Personal featuring Seggy have quickly resonated with fans, while solo songs Whole Night, Belong To You, and Mi Nah Lef round out the EP. The project has received positive feedback from listeners and peers alike.
“The songs are dope—that’s all I keep hearing on social media,” Davianah shared. She explained that the EP marks a deliberate exploration of her sensual side, which she felt her fans had been waiting for. “I’ve met supporters who said they missed that sexy, sensual vibe from me, so I decided to deliver. The EP is a bonafide success.”
Behind the scenes, the project is deeply personal to Davianah. Many of the producers are long-time collaborators and close friends. She highlighted producer Acka, whom she met through NHance, as one of the standout contributors. “Acka is an amazing talent, and like the connections I’ve developed with others, we created something special together,” she said.
Looking ahead, Davianah is focusing on Rebel Salute 2025, a festival founded by her father. While she hasn’t booked any major shows for the holiday season, she’s prioritizing preparations for the event. “This time of year is all about Rebel Salute. My workload becomes hectic, so I reserve my energy for the festival and the promotion of my EP,” she explained.
Davianah’s musical journey began in 2011 when she joined her father on stage at Reggae Sumfest, performing Estelle’s Come Over to an enthusiastic crowd. Since then, she has performed at events like Reggae Sumfest 2017 and Barbados’ Reggae on the Hill. A standout moment in her career came in 2019 during Rebel Salute, where her bold performance and fashion choices sparked widespread discussion.
With the release of F Season, Davianah continues to carve her own path in dancehall, balancing her family’s legacy with her distinctive artistry. Fans can look forward to her captivating presence at Rebel Salute 2025, where she plans to deliver another unforgettable performance.
