Tyla Has Released Her New Song “Is It.” With Summer Vibes
South African pop sensation Tyla has just dropped her latest single, “Is It, on Friday. Thus, she added a fresh, summery anthem to her growing catalog.

Tyla and Teasing “Is It”
In an exclusive conversation with Billboard ahead of her hosting duties at the 2025 Kids’ Choice Awards, Tyla kept fans anticipating more. She offered little detail about her upcoming projects. “You guys are gonna know when you’ll know. And it’s gonna be a vibe,” she teased. In the same interview, Tyla also shared her enthusiasm for contributing to the Smurfs movie soundtrack. She gave the mover her track, “Everything Goes With Blue.” Also, she gave a special shout-out to Rihanna’s role as Smurfette.
It follows the success of “Bliss,” which earned Tyla a spot on Billboard’s Hot R&B Songs chart at No. 11. Also, a No. 14 on Rhythmic Airplay. Tyla first teased the new single during her breakout Coachella performance in April. There, she also performed her top 10 Billboard Global 200 hit, Show Me Love, alongside South African rapper WizTheMC.
Although it remains unclear whether “Is It” or “Bliss” will feature on her much-anticipated sophomore album. Tyla has previously expressed that her new music represents both artistic and personal growth. “It’s different, but still Tyla,” she told Billboard earlier this year. Thus, she signaled an exciting evolution for the rising star as she continues to solidify her place in the global music scene.
