Rebnant grew up in Claremont, St. Ann, facing significant financial hardships which inspired his early music. After migrating to the USA and serving four years in the US Marines, he pursued music full-time. Initially performing as Yardie Bwoy and building a following in Florida, he later rebranded as Rebnant to mark a new direction in his career.
